Rooms range from studios with a private kitchen and bathroom to bedrooms sharing a living room and larger kitchen. It’s clean, well cared for, and reception staff are attentive and friendly. The new building has key card entry, round-the-clock security, and cameras in public areas. Students can stay during term, while conference guests and the public can book in summer. A good option if you study at University of Greenwich: the Naval College campus is a 15-minute walk, and Stockwell Street Library is five minutes away.

The room itself was okay, but it had enough problems that people had to come in several times to fix different things. The washing machines and dryers were terrible, with about 80% unable to do their jobs, though I understand they may have been renovated since. My worst experience was with the accommodation team in the offices, not the reception staff. They were unhelpful and made me feel that customers weren’t a priority. Communication and accountability were both absent. I was really unhappy with how they handled things. They messed up my reservation twice after assuring me it was all fine, then wouldn’t take responsibility or make it right.

The accommodation and location are good, but there was no real support for noise complaints. I was only there for one semester and couldn’t switch flats in time, so I got unlucky with flatmates who partied. I had a private room with a shared kitchen, and my flatmates played loud music day and night. Strangers knocked for fun and talked outside my door from midnight to 4am, while people screamed and laughed in the kitchen just outside it. Most of my classes started at 9am, but the partying carried on through workdays. I complained and called the Resident Assistants, but they often hung up because it was late and did nothing. In the end, I bought ear defenders just so I could get to sleep.
