Howard Winchester Hotel

The staff were really, really nice, and being so close to King's Cross made getting around very convenient. The room seemed small at first, but turned out to be quite comfortable. Noise was manageable. The area wasn’t the best at night.

Tea and coffee in the room, plus an en suite bathroom. Just note that breakfast isn’t served. Howard Winchester hotel has recently been refurbished, and it’s become my regular base for London visits. Argyle Square is only a few steps from King's Cross St. Pancras train and tube station, making it a great starting point for exploring the city. London Victoria is six tube stops away and London Liverpool Street is four. The prices are convenient, the place is very clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Even with a stressful booking mistake over Marathon weekend, when everywhere must have been busy, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room was small, but clean and good quality. I’d happily book here again.

The main reason to book here is the location, very close to St. Pancras train and metro stations. We stayed in two rooms. The first was extremely small, with the sink apart from the toilet area and no hairdryer. The second felt much more comfortable, with a small desk, a full bathroom and a hairdryer. Both rooms were pretty clean. There’s no air conditioning or mini fridge, and breakfast isn’t available.
