The location was great, and Towerbridge is only a few minutes away. The nearest train station, though, is about a 15 to 20 minute walk. The apartment has four rooms and a shared kitchen. We had the smallest room for two, and it was nearly too cramped for us, with hardly any space around the bed. The rooms are poorly soundproofed, so you can hear your neighbours very clearly. The kitchen has the basics and what you need, but it could be better equipped.
The website gave the impression you’d get a whole small apartment. In fact, there are small rooms and a shared area. The curtains don’t fit the windows, and the room isn’t practical for two people. Guests were loudly banging around from the early hours, and there was no one to talk to about it. The area wasn’t the best either. I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s a Premier Inn nearby that would be better value.
After nearly five weeks in hotel rooms, we really appreciated having the space in this fantastic apartment. The location is great, with some very nice restaurants close by, especially the Turkish one across the road. If you’re coming to London for a few days, stay here.
The room was already muggy when we got there, and there were no window screens. It had supplies, but we couldn't control the heating or cooling.
