DoubleTree by Hilton London - Ealing Hotel

My friend and I usually work at the business desk area, which has a good balance of privacy, comfort, and relaxed social atmosphere. The DoubleTree in Ealing feels luxurious, with beautiful décor, a positive atmosphere, and spaces that are always clean and well presented. The freshly baked chocolate hazelnut cookies are a thoughtful, homely touch, and it’s lovely that they’re complimentary. The bar staff have also been excellent: a smiling Black gentleman with glasses, a friendly Filipino gentleman who makes pleasant conversation, an Asian lady in a blue shirt with a ponytail, and an Asian gentleman with a beard. I don’t know all their names, but I hope they recognise themselves. They’ve helped make each visit positive. For the past two months, my good friend and I have visited regularly, and every time we’ve been impressed by the hospitality. The reception team always makes us feel welcome. Gifty and Hawa deserve a special mention for their warm greetings and friendly manner, which are part of why we keep returning. I’d highly recommend the DoubleTree in Ealing, whether you’re staying there or want a comfortable, productive place to work.

After a very long day, Fatima welcomed us warmly at reception for a very late check-in. We really appreciated her kindness and professionalism. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the train station was an easy walk away.

The staff were polite and friendly, and answered our questions quickly. My room was clean and well kept, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was on the small side and a bit tight for me as a plus-sized person, though the shower was spacious and pleasant to use. The warm check-in cookie was delicious, and the macarons and coffee machine in the room were welcome treats too. Parking was easy and affordable for London. There are shops a very short walk away and some good restaurants. I had a really lovely stay while visiting London and would definitely come back.

Breakfast can feel cramped when it’s busy, but there’s so much choice in a fairly small space, and I’d rather have that than an empty spread with no options. The breakfast staff were lovely, and reception welcomed me with a smile. W5 is a really nice, well-priced bar and restaurant, with fantastic staff who are chatty. The chicken and vegetable gyoza were very nice, and both the 1/2 grilled chicken and Katsu burger are good choices. I think the 1/2 chicken is great value. The location’s fine. It takes about 20 minutes on the tube to central London from Ealing Common, or you can walk to Ealing Broadway for the Elizabeth line, which is quicker. I’m no Gloria Hunniford, but if you need to be in the area, it’s a great choice.
