A real local pub with great food and breakfast, excellent accommodation, and lovely staff who make for a terrific atmosphere. This place is a gem, and I thoroughly recommend it.

For a proper pub feel in Richmond, this is the one for me. There’s a warm welcome, a cosy atmosphere, hearty pub grub, and a great pint. It’s not one of those restaurants dressed up as a pub. They reliably show the Liverpool game, and as a northerner who moved south, I’m proud to call it my local.

We had such a comfortable room, and the pub had a great buzz. The people running this inn were incredibly kind, too. It was a brilliant place to stay while we explored richmond, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone after somewhere quaint and homey.
