Flexistay Norbury Aparthotel

The host was super friendly, and the location worked well for public transport, with buses and trains nearby and restaurants around. The DIY breakfast was OK. Our room, though, was old and worn. The shower was dirty and mouldy, the furniture was worn out, and the bed's springs pushed into us because the topper was missing. See the pictures.

The bed was more than terrible, and the shower was disgustingly dirty with mould. We chose the place for its price and direct connections to London, and there are several bus and train stations very close, plus food places within walking distance. We got a friendly welcome, breakfast ingredients to prepare ourselves, good heating and free WiFi. It was also rather quiet.

The staff were amazing, really attentive, and happy to help with anything. My room was clean, large and had everything I needed. I've stayed here twice, and the location is perfect, about 10 minutes from Norbury Station for easy access to central London, and five minutes from shops and restaurants. I catered for myself in the kitchen and used the laundry facilities. It's basic, clean and well priced, and well worth it. A new mattress would make it perfect.

Check-out went smoothly, just like check-in, which was so easy the owner deserves credit. We kept getting helpful messages with the details. The property was clean and well maintained, with a clean kitchen that had all the amenities and a sitting area.
