The bar was good, and they served very good breakfast tea, though the Camden pale ale wasn't the best I've tasted. Our included breakfast was good, with fruit, cereals, and cooked food, but no baked beans, which seemed odd. The room was small but had everything we needed as a base, and the small lift did the job. The staff were helpful and polite. It's a convenient hotel for the museums and Royal Albert Hall. Gloucester Road tube station is a five-minute walk, with shops and restaurants nearby. I'd recommend it if you're visiting the hall or the museums in South Kensington.

We had exceptionally polite and helpful staff, and I'd happily return. The hotel is just off busy Cromwell Road, but we found it really quiet and very "Kensington". Breakfast was included, with a good range, although the restaurant felt a little cramped. They'd set up two mobile AC units in the pleasant bar during our visit, and those cooled it down nicely. We booked two nights through Secret Escapes during two of London's hottest May days on record, at 35C. Room 522 felt stifling, so after my wife politely asked, we were moved to basement room 4, which was huge and had air conditioning. You can't go wrong here. I'd highly recommend it.

The rooms are a bit small, but that's a minor detail. My only suggestion for the team is to use larger quilts on the single beds. We're tall, and it was hard to get fully covered. The team members gave us larger ones as soon as we mentioned it, though. We had a wonderful stay, with incredibly friendly and obliging staff and a great breakfast.

The architecture and decorative details are works of art, and there were fresh roses on the table. It's a lovely, beautiful place, and staying in a period building was special. The rooms are a typical UK or European size. The location is fantastic for transport links, and we loved it. From now on it'll be our go-to place when we're in London. The staff were amazing, welcoming, and so helpful, especially the housekeeping manager.

We only spent one night here, but it was a fantastic stay. Our quad room had a queen bed and two twin beds, and there was loads of space. The bathroom was nicely stocked. From the window, the quaint neighborhood street looked so picturesque. They kept our luggage while we went to explore the rest of Kensington, and the Natural History Museum is just a quick five-minute walk away. I'd highly recommend staying here!
