It's a practical, no-frills place near Heathrow, handy if you're catching a flight. The staff were really courteous, and I liked being able to use the kitchen to make my own food. You can have a light meal whenever you want, which was a first for me. I'd recommend it and stay again.

The staff were friendly, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. The photos don't match what you actually get, and the rooms are extremely small. The carpet was filthy and stained. Mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets, and those weren't clean either, though one of the other kitchens was fairly clean. The bathrooms weren't working properly. There's no air conditioning, and after I asked, they provided one fan for two rooms.

The room was spacious and the staff were friendly, and the price was low. That's about where the good points ended. The shower barely had any pressure, the room felt very dated, and breakfast was poor. Most days there weren't clean bowls, the bread was stale, and one morning there was no milk, so I had to go to McDonalds.

We came for the international convention of Jehovah's Witnesses at Twickenham Stadium, arriving around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday August 21 and leaving Sunday morning, August 24. The team at the Heathrow Palace made our wedding anniversary on Friday especially lovely, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. They were kind and nothing felt like too much trouble. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with fresh towels and bed linen each day of our 3-day stay. There was even a fridge, an unexpected extra that made things easier. TV and Wi-Fi were there too, though we barely needed them. We could help ourselves to cereals, fruit, tea, and coffee, and staff were ready to cook breakfast so we could get an early start. Thank you guys!

For such a low price, the rooms were nice and the service very friendly. Breakfast was small but good, and they even offered to make me omelettes at 3 am! A good option for a night near the airport if you're fine with a simple place and aren't after anything fancy.
