City Living kept us well informed before and during our week in London. The apartment made a great base for exploring, with the train and tube station close by, which made airport trips and getting around the city easy. There was some train noise in the living room, as others have mentioned, but it didn’t cause a problem at night.
I was happy with my stay. The bed was wonderful, and I really liked the spacious living room and the space set aside as an office. The location worked perfectly for my business meetings around Soho, Farringdon and Moorgate, and I could enjoy nice walks through London on the way. One Thursday, though, I could hear music from the pub next door until 3am even from the fourth floor, so I didn’t get a proper night’s rest.
A spacious, clean place in a good spot, near public transport, grocery stores, pubs and restaurants. I had a great time overall, though the sofa bed was pretty awful to sleep on and the trains made quite a bit of noise.
The apartment was large, clean and comfortable. Ours was number 501, with two bedrooms, one really wide, two bathrooms, a big living room with a large sofabed, and a full kitchen. The dishware was just enough for five, and a detailed guest guide would have helped. There was a little railway noise from early morning, though nights were generally quiet, especially at the weekend. Farringdon Station is nearby, handy for arrivals from Gatwick and also for the Elizabeth Line. If you need a supermarket for a longer stay, I’d choose WAITR##E over T###O for fresher food and more choice, though that’s nothing to do with the host. Check-in is self service, and with no one there to greet us, the lack of a full guide was a limitation. Still, absolutely recommended for a family of five visiting London for the first time.
The apartment was nice, with a functional interior and good local services. Train noise made the living room a bit loud, and the TV didn’t work.
