Hilton London Metropole

The Executive Lounge, managed by Gibreal, was excellent. Asrar, Valentino, and Hardik supported him ably. Hady Ibrahim at the front desk was very helpful when we needed to contact British Airways, and Giovanni came to fix our room AC when it initially wasn't working. We loved the location too, close to Paddington Station and a short walk from many great restaurants. We'd recommend this hotel.

I travel often for work and usually pick Hilton properties in different cities, but Hilton London Metropole really stands out. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are modern, comfortable, and well maintained. I look forward to breakfast in the lounge: the team are always smiling, helpful, and go out of their way to make guests feel special. The lounge staff as a whole are exceptional, warm, attentive, and consistently welcoming. They make me feel at home each time, which is rare to experience so reliably. The evening spread is generous and satisfying enough to replace dinner, with food quality, variety, and presentation that feel like a restaurant meal rather than standard lounge fare. Parking is very convenient and almost always available. And because the hotel is outside central London, there's no need to worry about congestion charges. Whenever I'm in London, I enjoy staying here and genuinely look forward to coming back.

The meeting room we booked for work was well organised, with a good range of food and snacks, though the heating kept cutting out. Breakfast was included, but the same items every day got repetitive over our five-night stay. We paid for a larger room category, so it was spacious, with a nice shower, although the bathroom itself felt small. The refurbished rooms still look a little old and dated, and there was no in-room dining menu, which surprised me for a hotel of this size. Staff seemed thin on the ground and I didn't find the service particularly friendly. I was told an upgrade might be possible if available, then later told we'd already booked the largest option, which was unexpected. The hotel is very large, with two towers and a lively feel, and the location is excellent, especially if you're after halal food nearby. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. Some good facilities and a convenient location, but parts of the experience could be better.

Gibreal Ibrahim in the lounge was genuinely caring, attentive, and very helpful, making sure everything was right during my visit. David at reception was just as impressive, welcoming, professional, and really efficient. He made check-in easy and set a positive tone right away. Their service made the stay memorable. I had a wonderful time at Hilton London Metropole and highly recommend it.
