The staff made this stay feel especially welcoming. Ako, Theo, Esther, Zenovia and Yusuf were all friendly, professional and ready to help, and every interaction came with a smile. The team clearly takes pride in its service. The hotel was spotless, comfortable and well maintained, and the facilities met our needs. My experience at the Ibis Hotel exceeded expectations, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with attentive service. Thanks again to Ako, Theo, Esther, Zenovia and Yusuf. We had dinner at the hotel, and both the lasagne and fish pie were excellent. Our room overlooked the river and was clean and comfortable, with a spacious shower, consistently hot water, USB charging sockets by the bed and extra pillows. The nightstands were very small, though. We received a friendly welcome and great service throughout, especially from Azzy and his colleague. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Labake deserves a special mention. She checked on our food, cleared the table promptly and took time to ask how our stay was going. We live somewhere much quieter, and know hospitality can be hectic in a busy city, so we really appreciated her making sure we were happy. The food was tasty, the room clean and adequate, and the shower was great. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We were here for a gig at the O2 and found the location really convenient. We'd happily stay again.

Theo made me feel safe and relaxed at the Excel Docklands branch when I stayed for MCM Comic Con a couple of weeks ago. I'm disabled, and he noticed at check-in that I hadn't booked an accessible room. He offered to upgrade me and my brother, which we gratefully accepted. On Saturday evening, I wanted to have restaurant food in my room. Theo helped me place the order and personally brought it up because I couldn't carry it myself. His enthusiasm and attentiveness made a real difference to my stay. I'd love for him to receive my thanks.

The full English breakfast was good, and the staff were very helpful with our requests. Azzy at reception was especially kind and welcoming. Our room was clean and had the essentials, including a kettle, tea, coffee and hair dryer. There was no mini fridge, and I would have preferred scrambled eggs made the original way. The hotel is nicely located, about five minutes from Custom House station, with easy transport connections. We also enjoyed walking by the water and taking the IFS Cloud Cable Car across the Thames. We were very happy with our choice and recommend it.
