We left within 10 minutes. The place was advertised as a “luxury” stay, but it was one of the most disgusting and disturbing experiences we've ever had. Ilford Grand Hotel, which owns Ilford Luxury Apartments, also ignored our repeated messages about the £230 owed to us. Don't stay there either. I repeat, don't stay here. We'd contacted the property multiple times to request a £230 refund and got no reply or acknowledgment. Right outside the broken front door, a clearly intoxicated woman was doing drugs and had feces on her trousers. Our ground-floor apartment was right beside her, and we immediately felt unsafe. Inside, the kitchen was filthy, with grime on the counters and appliances that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The cutlery was stained and unusable. There was visible mould on the sofas, walls and bathroom, a pubic hair on the toilet, and a large, obvious stain on one dining chair. The whole apartment was dirty, neglected and unfit for guests.
