The host was so welcoming and did whatever he could to make us comfortable. The apartments were spacious, clean and fully furnished with everything we needed, including kitchen and laundry supplies. We loved our stay at Kensington Apartments. It’s a quick five-minute walk to the tube station, with easy access into London. A lovely place for couples or families, and we’ll definitely be back.
I found the mattress impossible to get comfortable on because I could feel the springs all over, so I ended up pulling out the sofa bed in the living area. Not happy. The Wi-Fi didn’t work either, which was just ridiculous. This was a poor quality apartment experience. For the same money, I should’ve stayed in a hotel, where at least you can take issues or complaints to the reception team. Here, you’re on your own. The address is listed as Avonmore Road, but the actual apartment is somewhere else. They don’t tell you before booking, which is non-refundable, then email you the real address a day before your stay.
Tom was a great host, friendly, professional, helpful and accommodating. The location is very good for visiting the main attractions, close to the tube and supermarkets.
The best Airbnb in West Kensington. Newly refurbished, clean and fresh.
Perfect for our time in London.
