Everything went really well during our stay, and check-in and checkout were easy using the lockbox system. The room was clean and came with two towels. Reception works entirely through WhatsApp, and they were quick to respond to questions. There’s also a washing machine in the basement. Bayswater and Queensway stations, plus other bus stops, are within walking distance, as are lots of convenience stores, halal restaurants, and gift shops. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for Muslims looking for halal food, since there are plenty of options nearby.
The only thing to bear in mind is that the toilets are shared, but that wasn’t a big deal for me. I booked a single room for myself and was surprised by how spacious it was. Everything I needed was supplied, including towels, shampoo, hand soap, and a hair dryer, and the mini kitchenette was well equipped. The temperature in the room was just right, and the bed was very comfortable. I had an amazing stay at Kensington Gardens and highly recommend it. I’ll definitely book here again on my next London trip.
I found check-in easy, with clear instructions, and the location was perfect. Eateries, cafes, and four supermarkets were all a short walk away. I was comfortable in the double room ensuite during my solo trip in early April, and the bed was good and the room clean. The toilet and shower were a bit small, but I got used to them. The one drawback was having to brush my teeth over the kitchen sink. The kitchenette was well equipped with a fridge, cutlery, plates, and a microwave, which made heating leftovers easy. There was a cupboard with hangers, and I appreciated having an ironing board and hairdryer too. I’d stay again on a future London visit.
The location was the best part: Hyde park is within walking distance, and buses and the underground make it easy to get around. The place is small overall, but there was still room to move around with two large bags. The little kitchenette was handy for making breakfast before heading into the city. The shower had great water pressure, and the heater worked perfectly.
I found this place while looking for a cheap room after booking my train to London about a month ahead. I didn’t want to rush back for the train home, and as a bare-minimum place to sleep it worked perfectly for the price. It had a small room with a single bunk bed, a mini kitchenette, and a shower. The toilets were shared, which isn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t too bad. I’d book again, especially at that price.
