Kensington Prime Hotel

We had a great experience with every member of staff. They consistently went the extra mile, and the hotel combines high-quality service with a small boutique feel. It was also perfectly placed for our event at Olympia.

The bus is a five-minute walk away and runs along the high street to Trafalgar Square, passing lots of London sights. I much preferred it to the tube. The hotel is in a terrific location and is surprisingly well appointed. Rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, with quality fittings, a very comfortable bed, a great shower and a useful kitchenette. Breakfast, including hot food, was a pleasant surprise and very decent for the reasonable room rate we paid. Best hotel we’ve stayed in for under £200 a night.

I was in London for work for a day and needed somewhere affordable, and this place met my needs. I’d seen a great score on Booking.com, and the folders looked nice too. Check-in was extremely quick. My room had a nice view and thoughtful touches, with free water, tea and coffee, plus a very comfortable bed. I slept well, and breakfast the next morning was delicious, more than I could have asked for. It’s bookmarked for a future stay.

The room was a bit tight, especially trying to move around with suitcases, but everything else was great. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the location was convenient. Everyone, from reception and breakfast to the cleaning team, was welcoming and lovely. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.
