We need a new managing agent. Rendall and Rittner have been here for a decade, running the place down while raising service charges year after year. Residents have little say: the residents' association forbids its committee from petitioning against R and R, the Chair elections are absurdly unfair, opposition members are banned from the CBW app, Right to Manage company directors aren’t elected, and residents aren’t consulted. CBWRA has never produced meaningful accounts. For years it told residents Right to Manage was impossible, and now it’s pursuing it reluctantly while giving little or no information. If the association can’t follow the rules or be transparent, how can we trust it to hold R and R accountable? The CBW app is heavily censored, leaving almost none of the democratic checks and balances in place. A CBWRA committee member who has been the subject of 4 police complaints is still in position. Residents can and will stop this.
