Kingston Lanyard Building by Vantage Apartments

I stayed with my family for two weeks, from April 28 - May 11, in apartment #19 on the 6th floor at 5 Skerne Road, Kingston KT2 5FP. The Airbnb Host’s poor service and the location made for a very disappointing stay. Getting to central London isn’t ideal, and the transportation costs added up. The host said cleaning services would be sent, but didn’t follow up when we asked. We were also charged an extra $62.54 for arriving four hours early, even though the apartment was empty. On checkout day, a text arrived at 9:12 AM telling us to leave by 10 AM. We had understood when booking that checkout was at 11 AM, so the short notice made it feel like we were being kicked out. Customer service wasn’t up to par. I submitted the complaint to Airbnb to warn future guests, but the post was removed, so I wanted to share it here. I’d spent a great deal on transportation alone trying to give my family the best experience possible. Being treated this way felt like a slap in the face.
