L'oscar London

We only had one night at L’oscar and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was immaculate and had lots of nice touches, including a yoga mat, a good hairdryer, and a Nespresso machine. Fresh mandarins and delicious chocolates were waiting for us. We ordered breakfast to the room before leaving, and it was fresh and delicious. The location is fantastic, just 10 steps from Holborn station, with trains to get you almost anywhere. There are loads of restaurants and coffee shops on the block, plus a grocery store kitty corner to the hotel. Big Ben and many nearby attractions are about a 30-minute walk away. Service was spectacular from the man who greeted us and carried our bags to the woman who checked us in and Toni, whom we met on our last morning.

Our junior suite was fine, and the food and service were lovely. The room’s bedroom TV and minibar never worked, though, and the small windows looked out onto no interesting view. There was also a pantry cupboard, but it was only useful for storing luggage. This was our second visit, and it didn’t live up to the first. A bit disappointing.

Tony was so welcoming to me and my family and was always offering help. The room was very comfortable, and everything from the decoration and food to the service seemed designed to impress. My stay at L'oscar was perfect. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I hope to come back soon! Kind regards, Beatriz and the Cunha family

I’ve stayed here for work and for holidays, and it works well for either. The staff are accommodating and happy to help with any request. They make you feel welcome, like they’re glad you’re back, and they remember you. That’s a big part of why I keep returning. The rooms are gorgeous and each has its own character while still fitting a central style. The restaurant has never let me down.
