For two people sharing a room with twin beds, we paid 220 euros for three nights, about 37 euros per person each night. For London, near the centre, with a private bathroom, that felt like great value. The 11:00 am checkout gave us time to recover after a long night, and they can keep your luggage after checkout if you have a later departure. We didn't use that option because our destination was on the way to the airport, but it could be handy. There's free Wi-Fi, and the speed was fine for watching videos in the evening. The location worked well: about 30 minutes to the centre by bus, with everything easy to reach. A shopping centre and places to eat were a 12 to 15 minute walk away. The neighbourhood felt safe, even when we were out in the middle of the night. Staff were helpful and friendly, and stayed up until 01-02 am to greet late arrivals. Each day, room service changed the towels and blankets and took out the rubbish. A few small things could be better. Some blankets had a little mould on them, which can happen in damp lower or basement floors in the UK, though it may put some people off. The beds weren't the most comfortable, and we could feel the springs through the mattress. We were tired enough that it didn't matter much, but more sensitive sleepers may mind. Without a shower curtain, the whole bathroom got wet after our showers, which was annoying to step into later. There were no pool or large lounge facilities like you'd get at a fancier hotel, but if you're here to see the city and sleep at night, this is a great budget choice. We had a pleasant stay and would happily return.

The room was immaculate, and they even supplied blankets and an extra plug-in heater. Staff were exceptionally pleasant. The shower and taps had excellent temperature control and really hot water. It's a traditional English-style hotel, conveniently close to two underground stations, about a 5-minute walk to one and 20 minutes to the other. Highly recommended.

A cheap, affordable hotel in a nice area. The rooms are small, but the beds are clean, and there are fresh towels, soap, and shampoo every day. The walls have scratches and the floor has seen better days, so a little renovation and repainting would help. There's a Bible in my room, if anyone wants to read one. I'm not sure if every room has one 😁

We left at 11:30 pm, and the next day was rough for my breathing, presumably because of the dust, grime, and mould. Before that, we'd already found black mould on both of the very flat, hard pillows under their first and second pillowcases. The room was horribly hot. We tried the a/c and a window, but the dusty unit barely worked and the window didn't open, or didn't exist. The pictures must have been taken years ago: the walls were marked, and the loose, chipped floorboards were a hazard. The shower was enclosed, which was probably better than other bathrooms from the reviews, but its head leaked and the cramped shower was difficult to move in without turning it off or changing the temperature. The towels barely covered a small adult, there was no hand towel, and the mini fridge looked as if it had been outside and switched off for years. We thought we'd put up with it because the price was low and we only planned to sleep there before leaving early. When we returned from food near 11, though, the pillows finished it for us. At check-in, the front desk woman told us she was leaving at 9 pm and there'd be no staff at the hotel, despite the advertised 24-hour help desk. We had initially been shown a pleasant entrance. After we left, the man on the phone swore a bit and said he'd contact us the next day, but he didn't. When we called ourselves a few weeks ago, they were rude, refused a refund, wouldn't communicate, and hung up. They also wouldn't speak to Booking.com about it. The cheap room in a good location didn't feel like good value for the service we got.
