LONDONERS│It's South Ken, Darling!

The rooms all have their own character and feel really cosy, and both the service and location are great. If you want a very London kind of stay, this is worth experiencing at least once. It’s apparently a favourite of Jack Nicholson, too. Enjoy!

The staff were warm and friendly, and I really liked the dark decor. Breakfast was lovely, and the bar has a cosy feel. Our room was the letdown: it seemed a bit dated and dusty, with mould around the bathtub 🤭. The bathroom supplies were pretty basic too, and I expected more toiletries.

We turned up at the Blakes hotel restaurant last Saturday without booking and were welcomed warmly. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout. Simone, our waiter, checked in regularly and made sure everything was okay, which it was. Marta, one of the managers, was attentive and helped make the whole experience feel special. Classy and sophisticated, with lovely food and impeccable service.

The rooms are still unique, comfortable, and quiet, the location is sublime, and the service is terse but efficient. I love this part of town and everything it offers. This used to be my favourite place, and I’m not sure what’s going on now. Please come back refreshed and lovelier than ever. I miss you, and so do many others.
