LSE Bankside House - Campus Accommodation

The location was great, and the room was reasonably priced for the area. Service was good too. The room was basic, and the walls were so thin I could hear people in the adjoining room shutting doors and using the bathroom. Breakfast came with the price, but I didn’t think it was good. I’d rather pay less and skip it.

The location was excellent, and we felt very safe and secure. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and tidy, and they had everything we needed. It’s simple, with no frills, but I’d happily stay again. Breakfast was lovely, the lifts worked, and towels and toiletries were provided. I’d definitely recommend it.

There were four of us sharing a room with four separate beds, and there was plenty of space. Towels, shampoo, tea, and instant coffee were provided. Breakfast gets busy, but there’s room to sit and lots to choose from. The staff were nice, and I’d come back. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. Also, we booked one night and later added another, asking months ahead to keep the same room. When we arrived, they couldn’t say whether that would be possible. Later we were told we’d need to check out and check in again. We weren’t bothered about changing rooms, but it seemed poorly organised: they put us in a similar room, so two rooms had to be prepared when one would have done. They do have a free luggage room, which was great for leaving our things while we changed rooms.

The area felt safe and was well connected, so it was easy to get around. Staff were kind, and the beds were clean and comfortable in a very nice room. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.
