Marble Apartments Tooting Broadway

The flat was well connected to the metro stop, and when we had a flight problem the owner let us rent it for an extra night. Still, the stay was frustrating and disappointing, mainly because of the poor maintenance. Doors between the living room and kitchen and to the bedrooms were ripped, making the place feel uncomfortable and lacking privacy. The terrace was inaccessible because its door was damaged and the latch had been taped shut. The toilet paper holder was torn, the shower handle was held in place with wires, and the floor was badly damaged, with a hole covered in duct tape. The sofa bed was also in poor condition. Sound insulation was another big issue: the paper-thin walls let noise from adjoining neighbors constantly disturb our peace and privacy. I wouldn't recommend it to travelers.
