The Montague On The Gardens

The staff made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our Christmas honeymoon, quickly learning our names and making the stay feel personal and easy. The Montague on the Gardens is full of classic character and charm. After our overnight flight, customs, and arranging a driver, we reached London very early, around 9:00 a.m. Our room was ready within about 20 minutes, so we could freshen up before exploring the city. On the early morning of Boxing Day, we had a health issue, and the staff went above and beyond to help us navigate an unfamiliar healthcare system and find suitable treatment. When we got back, they kept checking on us and made sure we had food, water, and thoughtful care while we recovered. The service was impeccable. Breakfast was included, and we made the most of it all three mornings. The food was great, the service wonderful, and the coffee excellent. We highly recommend The Montague on the Gardens to anyone considering London. It's a beautiful, welcoming place with exceptional service that made our honeymoon even more special.

This was another wonderful, memorable stay with my daughter. The kind, positive, attentive staff, lovely decor, and fun but welcoming atmosphere make this special place feel like a habit now. We slept fantastically in a lovely garden-view room, and breakfast was fantastic. The location is perfect too, about 10 mins walk from King’s Cross, Covent Garden, or Oxford Street. This time we had bar snacks at the very cool leopard bar, tasty and just right for a light supper. Just come here, but don't tell too many friends or I might not get a room! Thank you Montague.

The common areas were cozy and pleasant places to relax, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Everyone on staff was consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive. The location was ideal: an easy walk back from the theatres in the evening, right around the corner from the British Museum, with lots of nearby pubs and restaurants. A delightful stay at the Montague on the Gardens, a perfect home away from home.

The gardens make such a lovely backdrop, and the staff were attentive and genuinely friendly throughout. We kicked off with a delicious cocktail, then had fresh sandwiches with a few extra pieces because we were greedy, followed by warm scones and all sorts of tasty cakes and treats. I could’ve used a second stomach. We booked this afternoon tea for Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time. Already looking forward to coming back soon.
