Marylebone Apartments by Allô Housing

The sofa was unusable, with springs sticking out that hurt when we sat or tried to sleep on it. It felt like a wooden board. We told the host on the first day, and they said they'd sort it out, but nothing changed during our stay and they stopped answering our messages. They showed complete disregard for us as guests. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place.

I wouldn't recommend this at all. There was no heating, the bedroom windows had no locks, and the furniture looked stained and filthy. The Wi-Fi details didn't work either. We spent hours going back and forth with the property manager and still had no hot water. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give. Do not book here.

We booked for four nights and had problems throughout. Check-in was delayed by two hours because the apartment wasn't ready. Soon after we got in, the power failed; the manager didn't answer the phone, and we kept having power trouble for the rest of the stay. The shower tap on the floor was broken and hadn't been repaired before we arrived. The boiler had already failed for the previous guest, as mentioned in an earlier Booking.com review, but it took three days to get someone out to fix it. After 36 hours without hot water, we were finally given keys to another unit. That apartment didn't have enough beds for everyone we had booked for, and it had bed bugs. They were under the sheets and mattress, and on the bed base. The manager tried to blame us. We were bitten all over and got no compensation. On our last day, a pest controller came and found dozens of dead bugs. Matt, Hanya & Ahmed at the management company did virtually nothing when we asked them to fix things, leaving us without hot water for days. Once the hot water was back, we found the kitchen taps were reversed, with cold water from the hot side and hot from the cold side, which was dangerous for kids. Guests above us also said rain caused water to leak through their roof. This building could be great, but the managers are dishonest and should be avoided. Do not stay here.

I was there just one night, so I can't say much yet. It seemed like a good place. If I stay longer another time, I'll have more to report.
