Montana Hotel London

The top floor room at the back, which the front desk suggested, was quiet and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay at the Montana Hotel, and breakfast had a good range of choices. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the Tube station is very close. I do think an ensuite room would have been better, since the shared bathroom wasn't near my room.

Getting around was easy from this South Kensington spot, just steps from the Underground, beautiful streets, and some of London's best known museums. Even so, it felt tucked into a quieter, more refined part of the city. The Montana Hotel was spotless and comfortable, and everything seemed thoughtfully designed and well cared for, from the linens to the small touches. Breakfast was fresh and well prepared, a great start before heading out. The whole place had a calm, welcoming feel that made it easy to unwind after a busy day. What really made the stay was how consistently good everything was. Staff were genuinely welcoming, professional, and helpful without being intrusive. Every interaction and detail felt seamless. I'd gladly return and confidently recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, well located, pleasant stay in London.

We found the neighborhood clean, elegant, and civilized by London standards. Gloucester Road Underground station and a Waitrose are just across the street, and Hyde Park and the Natural History Museum are walkable. The staff were helpful and friendly during our stay. Our room and bathroom were clean and well equipped, and the refrigerator and EU-standard power outlet were especially useful.

Our spacious twin room was spotless, and the other areas of the hotel were clean and comfortable too. The reception always had friendly staff available. It's a short stroll to Gloucester Rd tube station, making it a lovely base in the kensington area for exploring the capital. We really enjoyed our stay and would book here again.
