Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier, and for the price it was very good. I stayed with a mate for the weekend and would come again. Cleanliness could’ve been better in the room and shared bathroom: there was the odd hair where it shouldn’t be, and the fridge hadn’t been emptied. Breakfast was included as I understand it, but we didn’t try it, so can’t comment.

We spent three nights here. The bed was cosy and the room fairly clean, though the toilet kept smelling of the neighbors’ Indian food. It takes at least half an hour to get to the city centre, so the guest house is quite far out. One evening the lock stopped working when we got back, and we were left waiting outside for quite a while. The owner kindly refunded that night, but we had to remind him several times, which got annoying. We did eventually get the money.

The room was a good size for the price, and the toilet, kitchen, and room were all really clean. It looks recently renovated, with a small TV and decent internet. The side-street location was quiet in the evening, and there are lots of Muslim and Indian food options nearby. You can get there by Tube, then walk a little. It may not be the best location, but it’s very good value. I’ll use it as a reference when comparing future London stays.

The guest house cancelled my reservation. What a joke.
