Please don't book. I wish I'd listened to the bad reviews before we booked, because what they said matched our experience last week. There was barely any heating, the room felt unsafe because the door hardly locked, and nothing looked well maintained. The room was much smaller than it appeared online, and the photos were VERY misleading. The bathroom was tiny, dirty and neglected, with a strong bad smell and visible mold, especially in there. It didn't feel hygienic or comfortable at all. When we mentioned it, THEY EVEN SEEMED SURPRISED, as if they didn't already have so many bad reviews. Everything was old. With so many people complaining about the same issues, why is it so hard to make an effort to fix them?!

I nearly cancelled after seeing all the negative reviews, so I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. The staff were really friendly and even helped carry my luggage up to a very clean, comfortable room with a small balcony. It was far better than I expected from a two-star hotel. Shops and restaurants are close by, and the metro is only a few minutes away, with the city centre nearby too. Honestly, I think the bad reviews are unfair. Don't let them put you off.

DO NOT BOOK if you don't want to lose your things or money!!! We were four people in a room on the 3rd floor and were robbed during our stay. Someone got in without breaking the lock, so maybe they had a key, and stole our camera. The manager and owner refused to look at the CCTV, which made us even more suspicious about the stolen camera.

The location was kinda nice, with two tube stations close by and quite a few shops and restaurants around. But the room and bathroom were tiny and really dirty. The headboards were dusty, as were the windows and shower, and nobody cleaned the room at all during our three-night stay. A lot of things were broken too. The table lamp and wall lights didn't work, so we had to keep the big light on. There were only two power sockets, and one barely worked, which made charging our phones a hassle. The floor was uneven, leaving my already rickety bed tilted, and I fell out during the night. I asked the front desk for help. They said someone would come up, but nobody did.
