I was glad this was just a one-night stop to sleep before heading to the airport. I booked using my Amex card and expected better. The room looked old, and the airport shuttle was the only reason I chose the place, but there wasn’t one. The front desk form also had breakfast information, although they told me breakfast hadn’t been available since the year before. Nothing had been updated.

The room was great, but the white, yogurt-like stains on the curtains really grossed me out. They need a good cleaner or better room service. I’d upload a photo if I could.

A good family room for £150 a night, with a separate bedroom for the parents and a corner sofa. The showers were good, there’s lift access, and Uber or taxis can pick you up within about a minute.

We slept like logs, and check-in and check-out were easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was a good size. We upgraded from a standard room and thought it was well worth it. The location’s great and the room was nice, though housekeeping could give it a deep clean. The bath jets were grubby and the wooden floor was dusty. We’d stay again.

The room was cosy, clean and well furnished, and I couldn’t spot a speck of dust anywhere. The hotel’s Moorish decor was lovely, and there was a beautiful diffuser scent as soon as I walked into reception. Staff were very helpful with my late check-out request and luggage storage, and someone was always at reception, 24/7. I had breakfast one day and there was a great selection. The woman serving breakfast was friendly too. The area felt safe and central. I had a great stay and would recommend coming back.
