Novotel London Waterloo

The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and professional, with the front desk especially welcoming and efficient. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the hotel was clean, modern and well maintained. Breakfast was good and a nice way to start the day. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly return.

The staff were fantastic across reception, the bar and breakfast, and our comfortable fifth-floor room had a great view of the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey, Lambeth Palace and a few other interesting sights. The location was great, and we were happy with the experience overall. A couple of things could use a refresh: the room speaker has an old iPod dock, the TV doesn't properly connect to our devices for streaming, and the lobby and bar toilets look neglected. Breakfast was very busy, and the colleagues worked hard while staying friendly and professional, but the dining area felt cramped and the selection didn't impress me. I've stayed at other Novotels in Greenwich, London Tower Bridge, Cambridge and Edinburgh over the last year, plus other Accor hotels, and they were all better. The cooked items were missing some things and needed seasoning; the bread selection wasn't great, and basics like nuts, brown sauce, marmite or hot sauce would've been nice. Still, it was comfortable, with a great location, views and staff. I'd stay again, though I might think twice before paying extra for breakfast.

The room was spotless when I arrived, with fresh-smelling linens, clean floors and a sanitized bathroom. Housekeeping kept it tidy each day, replacing towels and clearing rubbish. The lobby, lifts and hallways were clean and well organized too, and the dining and reception areas felt hygienic. I had a comfortable, stress-free stay last week. Novotel clearly maintains high cleanliness standards, and I'd confidently recommend it to anyone who values a clean, well-kept place to stay.

Public areas, including the lobby, hallways and elevators, were consistently clean and pleasant. Housekeeping also kept my room organized and hygienic during my stay. When I checked in, the bedding was spotless, the furniture dust-free and the bathroom very clean. Everything looked fresh and well cared for, which made me feel comfortable right away. Novotel clearly puts a lot of focus on hygiene and maintenance. I had a relaxing stay and would recommend it to anyone who values a clean, comfortable environment.
