The room on the third floor had a window, and the AC worked throughout our stay. There was also a small kitchenette with a microwave, electric stove, fridge and Nespresso machine, with complimentary coffee. The property is renovated and smells strongly of industrial hotel cleaning products. It took about five minutes to walk to the Underground, which connects to the Bakerloo, City, Hammersmith and Circle lines. The entrance is low profile, between a residential garden and Arab restaurants and food shops on Edgware Rd. You need a room card or have to ring the bell to get in. At first it seemed a bit sketchy, but inside it's a small, neat property. The lobby and entrance don't really reflect the place inside, and everyday cleaning could be more thorough. We don't know whether the rooms in the basement are different. The area is busy, but felt reasonably safe. The Google reviews aren't being fair to this property.

Ehtisham made our stay especially enjoyable with his professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with genuine kindness and did their best to accommodate our needs, always positively and without hesitation. We felt comfortable throughout, and the stay exceeded our expectations. We had such a great experience that we'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

The location is ideal for a short stay in London, and I find staying at NOX Edgware Road regularly is cheaper and easier than taking the train in from home. The rooms are clean, the showers are great, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I know some reviews aren't great, but I personally haven't had any problems. It's a comfortable, reliable option for me.

The room itself was quite fine and the lobby looked good. For the great value, I'd honestly give it 4/5 if it weren't for the heat. Outside it was 8c, feeling like 6c, while our room was a tropical 35.5c. It was 4am as I wrote this, and I still couldn't sleep in the sauna. We thought, coming from South Africa, that we could handle a bit of heat. We wear jackets at 21, unlike those Brits who think 16c is shorts-and-T-shirt weather. Oh, the hubris. If you can't stand the heat, don't stay at Nox Edgware street. The heating pipes seem to run through the depths of hell. After the second night, here's what I learned if you're trying to get some relief. Turn off the Central AC unit, since it pumps hot air into the room whatever the setting. If there's a window, open it and bring earplugs. Turn off the towel rail too. They must've accidentally ordered a space heater instead and installed it without reading the packaging. I don't mean an ordinary room heater. This thing is responsible for planetary system heating!
