Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge

I chose this hotel partly because it had a Fitness Center, since keeping up with my workouts during the stay mattered to me. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with a great range of equipment. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. Yolanda told me about plans to renovate and expand the Fitness Center. That was great to hear and shows the hotel's commitment to improving the guest experience. Thanks especially to Yolanda, Indergit, and Nwiru for being so kind and professional. They made each visit pleasant and helped me stay active while enjoying my stay.

Abdul was really professional at check-in, and the service around the hotel was amazing apart from the spa. I went along to supervise my daughter swimming, but staff questioned why I wasn’t booked in to swim myself and couldn’t give me a pair of slippers. The breakfasts seemed to depend a lot on where you were seated. On the first morning we were on the left, where it was hectic and the food was average. The next day we sat on the right, in one of two smaller dining areas with their own buffets. It was calmer, had a nice atmosphere, and made for a completely different breakfast. That could explain the mixed reviews I’d read. The bar was spacious and comfortable, and the service there was excellent. The room service menu was huge, though I didn’t order anything. The location is amazing, right across the bridge from Big Ben, and the room was a really good size with a bath and shower head as well as a separate shower. The only reason I marked the room down was the mattress, which was a bit too hard for me. I’d come back for one night because of the location, but couldn’t stay longer since the mattress doesn’t agree with me.

The rooms have been comfortable, clean, and quiet every time I’ve stayed, and the hotel is close to lots of attractions beside Westminster Bridge. I’ve been back many times and keep returning partly because the staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s lovely to recognise some of them and have them recognise me too. Today Natalia, one of the waitresses, made me feel especially welcome. She handled everything so helpfully, and the service was excellent. Thank you, Natalia. I was so pleased to see you again.

Getting around was easy without any need for private transport. Waterloo station and a bus stop are close by, and public transport is easy to reach. You can walk to so much across Westminster Bridge, which made the location the best part of the stay. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a nice view. It was kept very clean, and room service came every day. The hotel also accommodated an early check-in and was very helpful. Honestly, I didn’t dislike anything.
