Pimlico Central London Suite near Victoria

There was no staff at the property, everything was handled online. The place was dirty and neglected, and cleanliness matters to me even at this price. I wasn't bothered by the room size, since I didn't expect a presidential suite, but when I tried to open the curtain, it and the rod fell on my head because they weren't fixed properly. The floor hadn't been cleaned, with hairs in the corners. The shared bathroom was dirty, with mold on the ceiling, and the shower was clogged and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Paint was peeling from the walls. The pictures on the property page make it look much better than it is.

The location is very good, close to Victoria Station, other bus stations, and shops. The TV barely worked, though Netflix did, thankfully. The rest was a mess. There was no one on site apart from cleaners who came once a day, and everything was automatic. Wi-Fi didn't work on the upper floors. The bed wasn't assembled properly and fell apart when I sat down too hard. I couldn't open the windows, and the room smelled strongly of damp all the time. You could hear conversations from downstairs and even from the street because the walls and doors don't block sound. The place was really unhygienic, with mold on the ceilings, dirty floors that seemed never to have been cleaned, and damaged walls. The tiny bathroom had mold on the ceiling, a shower door that wouldn't close, and a disgustingly dirty floor. In the kitchen, there was a big hole in the ceiling, cupboards falling apart, and only one chair and two sets of plates for everyone in the 'hotel'. I really don't recommend it.

There was no staff, and getting to the bedroom meant climbing stairs, so it isn't suitable for a disabled person. My room had sorry towels and dirty underwear under the bed, and the street outside was very noisy. The shared bathroom was clean, and the bedding was clean too. There was a TV in the room and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. I made tea and coffee but didn't cook. I wouldn't stay there again.

The bed was the worst I've ever slept on. With no staff on site, the idea may be to save money, but the owners were completely unresponsive and never even acknowledged my complaint. The night I stayed, a group got very drunk, shouted and ran around the shared areas, and played their TV at full volume until 4:30am.
