Premier Inn London Angel Islington

The location is great, and it stays quiet even though several shops are close by. The rooms are standard, as expected, and the mattresses are very comfortable. Staff are lovely and helpful. Mary in particular made me smile each morning at breakfast. The WiFi was weaker on the first floor than it had been during my earlier stays on higher floors.

We stayed for two weeks and met most of the staff, who were all really helpful. Francesco and Elena stood out for their attentive service and welcoming manner. They were always willing to go the extra mile, so we felt at ease and never like we were asking too much. They deserve recognition.

The hotel is just off lively Upper Street in Islington, about 350m from Angel tube, yet it’s set back from the road and surprisingly peaceful. We had a lovely stay, with excellent food and a comfortable, well appointed place that was hard to fault for value, location, and facilities. The staff were courteous and attentive. Elena and Eugenia were outstanding, especially on my daughter’s birthday. Even while busy, they took time to make a fuss and were very kind to both of us. Thank you!

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the food was great. Giovanni was the nicest hotel manager I’ve met in ages, and Dan in the kitchen was fantastic. The whole team were lovely and seemed to get along, which made the stay so enjoyable. 10/10!
