Premier Inn London Tower Bridge

The room was huge by London standards, with enough space to open two or three full suitcases. I liked the bathtub, and there were extra pillows in the room. It was reasonably clean, as were the common areas, and I got excellent uninterrupted sleep thanks to quiet guests and virtually no outside noise. I even had a nice view of the Shard. Check-in was quick and efficient, and for the price I thought it was good value. I stayed four nights. Coming from Heathrow with luggage could be a bit of a hassle, since it’s about a 15-minute walk to the hotel. The tube is also a little farther away, so it suits you if you don’t mind walking a bit. There are several bus stops fairly close by that can take you into central London.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, morning and evening, and breakfast was great. We had dinner there one night too, and that was good as well. There were no noise problems, and we all slept reasonably well during our city break. Some rooms seem to have been upgraded and are nicer quality; ours was a little shabby, especially the bathroom.

The room was clean and comfortable, and being on a main road didn’t make it noisy. There’s no shaver point, though. The food was great and the meal prices felt like the fairest in London. Jan in the restaurant really stood out, she’s kind and clearly loves what she does.

Simran at reception made us feel welcome straight away. She was polite, professional, and so helpful with everything we needed. We had a smooth, comfortable stay at Premier Inn, and her friendly service made it memorable. We’d happily come back.
