My experience was very bad. Our ground-floor room was tucked under the stairs and felt cold, with no central heating and just one duvet. There was mold on the ceiling, and it was noisy every morning. They also don’t provide cleaning during stays of less than eight days.
The apartment didn’t match the pictures online. It was unclean and poorly maintained, and the bed setup felt cheap and worn. The whole place seemed neglected and well below what we expected. We’d booked two nights but left after the first one because of a frightening disturbance. In the middle of the night, our doorbell rang repeatedly, then someone knocked loudly on doors in the hallway right outside our apartment. We felt threatened and unsafe, so we stayed quiet and didn’t speak. The door and locks were flimsy and apparently didn’t stop the people from getting in. Security seemed inadequate. We reported what happened, but management called it “external” and wouldn’t offer support or compensation. We still had to pay for the full stay even though we left early. Afterward, we read other reviews describing similar incidents, including reports of junkies and drug dealers living in the building and entering apartments. It seems to be a known, ongoing problem, and the property isn’t being managed responsibly. I strongly advise against booking. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable, and management showed no care when it mattered.
The only real issue was working out which studio I’d been assigned from the emails. It would help if the messages were laid out more simply, so the information is easier to find, especially on a phone screen. Otherwise, it was a lovely place for a solo trip. My studio was at the top of the building, a good size, nicely furnished, and very clean and neat. It had a kitchenette with a microwave, electric hobs, fridge, cutlery, plates and pans, plus a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules and a kettle with teas. There was a good-sized shower room with toiletries and hand towels, and a roomy wardrobe and bed. A hair dryer, iron, and TV were provided too.
I’d seen the Google reviews after booking through Booking.com and was a bit worried, but the studio (room 3) at the back of the building on the ground floor was a pleasant surprise. It had everything we needed for the weekend, a comfy bed big enough for the two of us, and clean sheets. The water didn’t get very hot, though, and it was a little chilly in winter.
The room was very clean and in an impeccable state, and the location was super convenient. When we had a problem with the bed, they moved us to another room. The staff were phenomenal. We came from México, thanks, top guys.
