The heater in my room was broken and kept blasting at full power even when switched off, so I couldn’t sleep. There were rooms available, but the receptionist wouldn’t move me until I proved the problem with a video. He didn’t believe me otherwise. I finally got another room at midnight, in the basement, the night before an important conference. This ruined my short trip to London and forced me to cancel my plans the next morning. For the price, that’s absolutely unacceptable, and the rooms generally aren’t in great condition either. The worst hotel customer service experience.

The location is great, and both the room and sheets were very clean. The rooms are good enough, but the staff were especially friendly and fixed something very quickly. They clearly care about making this a good hotel. They also set up a baby cot, which was very good.

The room was small, which is expected in central London, but it was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and efficient. It also worked perfectly for our plans to visit Madame Tussauds and the Sherlock Holmes museum. We'd stay again.

The room was tiny, the net curtains were torn, and the bath taps were jammed so tightly they wouldn't turn on. The location was very good, and the staff were lovely, but the place needs a revamp.

We had a bath in the room, which was a real plus, and the staff were lovely. It's nothing fancy, but the price was very reasonable and the neighbourhood is one of London's best. Highly recommend it.
