Roseate House London

Binod noticed we hadn't finished the food and asked if everything was to our liking. When I reassured him, he brought us an extra pot of tea, which was thoughtful. His service really stood out, and I wanted to commend him. We were visiting London and had booked traditional afternoon tea at The Hyde restaurant at Roseate House to try the English experience. The menu was simple, with scones, sandwiches, desserts and tea or coffee, but the quality was good and the tableware was classy. We didn't finish the food, which was fine since we mainly wanted to enjoy the experience. A really nice visit.

Breakfast was excellent quality, and the hotel has a lovely boutique feel. The guest rooms and public spaces are elegant. Most of all, Vishnu, Hamish and Mark were gentlemen and went out of their way to help with our immediate needs. Paddington station is only a five-minute walk away. We're staying again in September and highly recommend it.

We booked Roseate House London at the last minute during a layover on our way to Spain, and my husband and I were so glad we did. Paddington Station is just a few minutes away on foot, and taking the Heathrow Express made getting there very convenient. The staff were so kind and looked after us wonderfully. Our room was comfortable, charming and full of character. The neighborhood is lovely, with Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens just steps away for an afternoon walk. It was a short stay, and we left wishing we had more time. We'll definitely come back next time we're in London.

I had just 1.5 hours between flights in London and wanted to go for a run in Hyde Park, so I asked the Roseate team if I could leave my carry-on with them. They kindly agreed, even though it was an unusual request, and made me feel welcome and looked after. That thoughtful help made the stop much easier. I’ve stayed there twice before, in May and August 2025, and both visits were wonderful too. It’s clear why I’ve enjoyed coming back, and I’d highly recommend it.
