Scarfes Bar was one of the highlights for me. It’s known as one of the world’s best bars, and the creative cocktails and live music every night give the hotel a lively, soulful feel. The Mirror Room breakfast is also outstanding, with world-class food and service, though it costs more. The included breakfast, with a buffet and some dishes made to order, is good but not exceptional. The Rosewood London’s courtyard is striking, and the hotel feels grand while still intimate. Its location makes it easy to reach lively spots like Soho, while the property itself feels like a refined retreat. Service was warm, professional and attentive across the hotel. The spacious rooms are genuinely comfortable and have more character than many modern luxury hotels. For me, it offers the charm, comfort and distinctive touches I’d hope for from a five-star stay. Between the rooms and Scarfes Bar, it’s easily one of London’s finest hotels.

I loved the suite, especially the marble bathroom with its bathtub and roomy shower, including the built-in marble bench. After a late arrival, Lori made check-in easy and warmly explained the breakfast options and hotel amenities. The team were kind throughout. Concierge Alex checked on me after hearing me cough from the hallway, helped with my questions, and was always up for a late-night chat when I got back from walks. Filippo was professional and helpful at checkout, and Tiffany’s warmth and attentiveness made me feel especially welcome. Both breakfast rooms were good experiences. Atikul at the Holborn Dining Room and Tunde at the Mirror Room were friendly and attentive. I’d recommend the pastries and cloudy apple juice. The Mirror Room is beautiful, and the marble staircase deserves a mention too. I also enjoyed a cocktail at Scarfes Bar, where many drinks seemed to have their own story or inspiration. The hotel has a charming old-money feel, with classic interiors and a cobblestone courtyard. It’s very central, within walking distance of Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, with Sainsbury’s and Superdrug nearby. I didn’t use the spa or terrace, though both looked nice. The terrace seemed lovely for drinks, BBQ or pizza, but it rained for most of my stay. There’s no pool, though standing outside on a typical London day might have much the same effect. Little details, like the Hotel branded umbrellas and celebration sweets on the floors, added to the stay. The whole team was welcoming.

The Rosewood was just what I wanted for my week in London for a movie premiere, and it exceeded my expectations. Everyone on staff was helpful and kind, and they made me feel at home. I ordered room service more times than I can count, and the food was great. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was great too. The hotel is immaculate and picturesque, with restaurants, coffee shops and stores all within walking distance. You can’t go wrong staying here.

The hotel is lovely, with transport and food options close enough. Staff were friendly, and it was kid friendly too, with some baby products and a nice stuffed toy supplied. I booked through Amex FHR and was caught off guard by the discretionary service fee.

I felt well looked after from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly, attentive and truly ready to help. The rooms are spacious and carefully designed, with a modern, luxurious feel. The property itself is stunning, from its architecture to its high-class amenities. It delivers on comfort, service and style, and I can’t wait to return.
