Snoozebox Olympic Park

The hotel is quirky, and we loved it. Our room was clean and had fresh towels and bedding, two wrapped bars of soap, shower gel, and shampoo. It’s small, as you’d expect when each room is half a freight container, but we had everything we needed. The venue was literally across the road, so we could leave our coats behind instead of carrying them all evening. We had a great time at ABBA Voyage, and the hotel’s after-party was brilliant, with a great DJ. Staff were polite, parking was £9.99 overnight, and we got two free drink vouchers for booking on the hotel’s own website. You’re not paying Hilton prices, so don’t expect the Hilton. We’d definitely stay here again.

There’s a regular DLR service nearby, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were immaculately clean, with a lovely big bathroom and clever storage. The beds are full size and very comfortable. It’s innovative accommodation with everything you need, plus a fantastic DJ hosting the After Abba Voyage Party. What more do you need?

The beds were comfy and the linen very clean. The rooms are tiny, but functional, just as you’d expect. There was a slight caravan-like smell, though it was fine for one night. The staff were brilliant, the ABBA show was right there, and the bar and dance floor were great fun afterwards. Having the show, a train station, the bar, and a bed all within about 100 metres was awesome. I couldn’t find a hairdryer after my shower, but reception gave me one. There were only two plug sockets and no USB, so bring proper three-pin plugs for charging. Parking cost £9.99 and was well worth it. I wish we’d known earlier, as we’d already paid for a JustPark spot about a mile away. We moved the car to the Snoozebox, which made things easier the next morning.

For a secure, cozy room to come back to after a long day out, this was grand. The price and quality were good for the area. It’s nothing fancy, and you need to be okay with a small room and limited privacy between the bathroom and bedroom.
