The staff were lovely, friendly, and always ready to help. Little things were taken care of too, like replacing the shower gel, coffee, and cream we used each day. My son and I spent four nights at Star hotel this February and loved it. We were on the first floor facing the street. The double glazing kept the street noise out, and the room was warm, comfortable, nicely furnished, and practical, with comfortable beds and a lovely new bathroom. It was very clean. The Victorian building is lovely, and the area has shops and restaurants. Hammersmith tube station, the bus station, and Eventim Apollo are just a short walk away, around 5-10 minutes. Bus 72 stops right outside if you prefer. I’d definitely stay again.

The staff were kind and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. They even checked in before we left to see if we’d enjoyed our stay. Our room was as expected for the price and was cleaned thoroughly, even though we hadn’t asked for it. The location is handy for pubs, places to eat, and a Tesco, with several bus stops close by. Hammersmith Broadway Station is walkable too. There are a couple of quirks that come with the renovated Victorian house. The walls are thin, and a gap under the room doors lets in noise from conversations and the staircase. The motion-sensor stair light also shines under the door. Adding weather or insulation strips to close the gap could help. Still, we had a lovely stay and I’d come back.

The location made it easy to explore the city, and the rooms were luxurious and spotless, with excellent amenities. What stood out most was the service: the staff paid close attention and did everything they could to keep us comfortable. Every part of the stay felt special. It was more than just a hotel experience, and I’d gladly return and recommend it.

For my work trips in 2026, I’ve stayed here several times and would happily recommend it. The winter offer is especially good value, and it’s been a lovely, affordable place to stay for the week when I need it. The team are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My room is comfortable and cleaned daily, and the hotel always smells fresh. It’s also very handy for Hammersmith, Westfield, and several Tube lines. Thanks, team 🙏

I really appreciated how welcoming the team made me feel as soon as I arrived. They were friendly and helpful every time, and clearly take pride in making guests comfortable. My room was clean and fresh, with a comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. It had everything I needed. The rooms are compact, as is common in London, but they’re well arranged, well kept, and good value. The location in Shepherd’s Bush made getting around easy, with several Tube stations nearby. Food and shopping are close too, and central London is easy to reach. For London, the balance of comfort, price, and location is hard to beat. Star Hotel felt like a hidden gem, and I’d happily stay again and again. Thanks to the team for making my time in London so enjoyable and for helping me out.
