The rooms don’t give you much space, but this works well if all you need is somewhere to sleep without spending much on accommodation. The price is fair, maybe even cheap compared with other hotels nearby, and the staff are friendly. Everything was clean and well maintained, so I’m happy with what we got for what we paid. There are two underground stops about a 10-minute walk away, so it’s well connected. Just don’t expect too much.
It was very affordable compared with the other options, especially for off-season travel. The place is clean and not run down, but it’s totally forgettable and really just the absolute basics, fine if you only need somewhere to sleep. The station is at least a 10-minute walk away, which was a bit annoying compared with my other stays.
The rooms are very small, but clean and tidy. The bathroom was small and clean too. Amenities were limited to hand and body soap, which was fine. I did hear some noise from the pipes, at least on the first floor where I stayed.
It’s a handy place for a city trip when you’re out exploring most of the day. The bus stop is very close, and you can reach the city center in minutes. Across the street there’s a good breakfast place and a grocery store with normal prices, a real plus for this area. Free coffee, hot chocolate and tea were available during the day too. The room was tiny, but perfectly enough for sleeping. I wouldn’t plan to hang around in it during the day. The windows don’t open, but there was a fan and air conditioning, so it was manageable. One drawback was that there was no hot water around 10pm, which wasn’t great after a long day out. Even with that, the location and practicality make it a very good choice.
The room was clean and in good condition, and the front desk and service staff were pleasant. But even by London standards it was extremely small. There were only about 8 inches between the bed and the wall at the foot, and perhaps a meter on the other side. The bed was pushed against one wall, and the bathroom was just as cramped.
