Studios 2 Let North Gower

We were after something affordable in a central area for a week, and this apartment suited us. It’s small, but the price felt reasonable for the location and breakfast. Having our own bathroom and a kitchen was handy, and we had a lot of fun. We’d recommend it.

The staff were great, and the location made it easy to get to the Tube and buses. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. My only complaint was the mattress, which was pretty much worn out.

The room was tiny, with so little space that my partner had to move aside whenever I needed the bathroom or closet. If you’re tall or broad, I wouldn’t recommend it, and the bed was so narrow it shouldn’t be listed as a double. On the plus side, the room had a refrigerator, sink, kitchenware, TV and nice toiletries. The staff were friendly and helpful, let us check in early, and stored our bags for a few hours after checkout. It’s a great base for exploring the city, with metro stations, bus routes and several points of interest close by.
