The Beverley Apartments

A clean, quiet room and a very friendly night receptionist, Glenn. There are lots of breakfast spots within walking distance. The hotel is also within about 30 minutes of St. Pancras station, Chinatown, and the tower.

We found bed bugs in the apartment near the hotel when we checked in around 5 PM. There were blood marks on the wall behind the window blinds, and live bugs around the bed. Luckily we spotted them before going to sleep, or we might have brought them home. I showed reception videos and photos and asked for another room or somewhere else to stay. After waiting three hours, they still couldn't help and only said the refund would take 7-12 days. The manager I spoke to by phone was rude and unprofessional. They insisted I was wrong instead of apologizing or saying they would arrange a pest control inspection. Even after I sent the evidence by WhatsApp, there seemed to be no concern about guest safety or hygiene. It was Friday night, around 9 PM on 4 October 2025, and finding another hotel for three people was extremely difficult. We were tired, hungry, thirsty, and very disappointed. I hope pest control inspects the property and proper action is taken, because these conditions are unacceptable.

We were told the front basement room was the largest, but I wouldn't choose it again. At 5:30 in the morning, staff were taking in a delivery of new linen right outside our door and woke us up. They then talked loudly for another 20 minutes.

The owners were welcoming and very friendly, and the hospitality was excellent. Mohammed helped me with the accommodation, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting London.
