The staff were so kind and sweet, and there was no rush or time limit like at the Ritz. I could even take photos everywhere for my birthday 🎂. The afternoon tea was incredible, with creamy, delicious sandwiches that tasted as good as they looked. It was definitely worth the £95 plus service charge. Thank you for making my birthday feel so special! 💋 xoxo

We had such a great time. The tea, sandwiches, scones and dessert were all lovely, and the service was amazing. Our host Anuar was attentive, got everything to us quickly and made it a great experience.

The spa was beautifully calm and luxurious, and afternoon tea was delicious, with impeccable service. Veronica in the spa was incredibly accommodating and made it even more relaxing. Marilyn was also so helpful and polite. They both showed the level of service you'd expect from The Dorchester. The reception staff were the one slight letdown. They seemed a little hostile and less welcoming than everyone else, which was a shame. Still, I had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend the spa and tea.

We went to the gala dinner in the ballroom, not for an overnight stay, so I can't comment on the rooms. The hotel is grand and seems to live up to its reputation. The food was very good, and the service was great all around. Definitely a good experience, worth recommending.

For my 70th birthday, I had black tea first, then rose-infused tea with the scones and sweets. I ate everything without feeling overwhelmed. The flavours, portions, and mix of light and hearty food were just right. The savories, scones, sweets and amuse-bouche were outstanding, and the tea selection was lovely. The service was impeccable, and afternoon tea at the Dorchester was worth every pound. Highly recommend.
