The Fox & Goose Hotel

We stayed here the night before a concert at Wembley stadium and couldn’t have picked a better place. The room was spotlessly clean, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived to find a Harry Styles cardboard cutout and balloons, along with Harry Styles themed cocktails in the bar. Such a fun touch, and it made us even more excited for the concert. Thanks, Fox & Goose, for making our stay in London perfect!

The room was spacious, with a huge bed and shower area. At night, though, the lighting felt a little dim, and it would be nice to have the option of something brighter. The door can slam loudly if you don’t hold it until it’s closed. We appreciated the thoughtful extras: free bottled water, sparkling water, a bottle of beer, and skimmed milk for tea. The staff were friendly and welcoming too. Breakfast was the highlight for us. Each day we could choose a hot dish from the menu and help ourselves to as much cold breakfast as we liked, all free. It was so good and put us in a great mood for the day. The hotel’s look first caught our eye, and we had a lovely stay. It’s a short walk to the Underground, about half an hour to downtown, and we could reach Heathrow airport with a transit. It was convenient for getting around, and we’d definitely stay here again if we return.

The meal at The Fox & Goose was brilliant, full of flavour and clearly made with care. The dessert was one of the best STPs I’ve ever had. Jamal and Georgia made the evening especially enjoyable, with warm, friendly service that felt personal and relaxed while still being attentive. They deserve recognition and are a real credit to the place. The hotel next door was great too, with friendly staff, plenty of parking, comfy beds, and free drinks and shortbread in the room. I’ll be back next time London calls.

The rooms were clean, the service was good, and the staff were chatty and friendly. This was our second year staying here for the challenge cup final, and once again we had a great weekend with no disappointment. I even had a funny chat with one staff member’s husband, who was funny for a southerner. We’ll be back next year.
