The Hadley Hotel

Good service made this stay for me. I was in the area for surgery at a local clinic, and every member of staff went out of their way to keep things comfortable and stress free, from the booking until we left. Have I stayed somewhere bigger or fancier? Probably. Have I enjoyed a stay as much? Definitely not. You can't put a price on that kind of care. Five stars for the service. Thank you, Hadley hotel! 😀x

The Hadley Hotel and its staff helped us give Mum a proper send-off after I was let down for her wake. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and considerate, and I'm hugely grateful. Our family stayed in the rooms too, which were clean, fresh, and stylish. It's a real neighbourhood hotel, and a lovely example of local hospitality. Thank you from all Ann's family.

Hadley Wood is a lovely place for a wander or just to do nothing, and you'd never guess it's so close to the Northern line. We spent two nights in one of the downstairs extension rooms at the Hadley. It was immaculate, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed. The family and staff were lovely, especially the gorgeous Maria?, who knew the area well, seemed to care that we enjoyed ourselves, and made a great case for Barnet. Nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast was fabulous and cooked to order, with every whim catered for. We even ended up relaxing in the bar after a full day out. It had a great atmosphere, even on a Tuesday, and joining the handful of locals felt natural. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel strongly enough about how lovely this hotel is to recommend it.

The bathroom needs a bit of attention: the towel rail and bath faucet were loose, as was the shower-head slide bar, and water leaked onto the floor because there was no proper seal under the glass screen. Those things brought my rating down to four stars, though none ruined the stay. The rest was very good value, and I'd happily return to The Hadley Hotel in Barnet. The staff were welcoming and especially kind with my daughter, which gave the place a warm, family-friendly feel. The location made it easy to get around and reach local amenities. Our room was clean, modern, cosy, and comfortable, with good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a TV with Netflix and other streaming apps. Breakfast was fresh, had a good choice, and was served by friendly, helpful staff in a welcoming, well-organised setting. With some bathroom maintenance, this could easily be a five-star stay. I'd still recommend it as a comfortable place at a reasonable price.
