Lovely sunny day, and the park was nearly full of people coming to relax. It really was a lovely day.

Near the British Museum, this is a small green spot with a long history as one of London's oldest squares. It’s a nice place to pause, have a snack or settle down with a book among the trees.

It’s a little patch of green among all the city buildings, good for taking a breather. When the weather’s nice, you could have a picnic here. There isn’t much room for a long walk, though.

The square could do with some care, as it doesn’t seem very well tended, but it’s still beautiful to pass through. It dates back to the 1600s and has huge trees, paths to walk along, benches and a few flowers.

I really liked having this simple, clean park to rest in after a long day walking London's busy streets. It has benches and trees, and cafés and hotels are nearby. There’s parking underneath, too.
