The views over the Thames were lovely, and breakfast was good. The room had thoughtful touches like a robe, coffee, tea, a little bottle of fresh milk, and a heated towel rack. There's also a games room and a welcome drink. The furniture was comfortable and plush, the location by Hampton Court Palace was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. As a woman travelling alone, I felt safe and welcome. They kindly kept my bags before and after checkout so I didn't have to carry them around the Palace. I'd definitely recommend it and return. Thank you!

The food was delicious, and after dinner our excellent server Georgia even arranged a quick trip on a lovely wooden river launch. Staff in the bar and restaurant were all very pleasant. We got a warm welcome from Ashleigh at the front desk, who also helped us manage the tricky but free parking. This was our second stay at the Mitre, and the room was a good size, with a decent-sized kettle, coffee machine, and fresh milk. The artwork throughout is interesting and original, but the staff are what make the place. Thoroughly recommended.

We spent three days there over half term and managed to see everything without feeling rushed, since we went over to Hampton Court several times. It's just steps away. Everything we needed was on site, including boat rental, and the room was well equipped for the children and had air-conditioning during the heat wave. The kids loved how kind Ashley at the Front Desk was, and the breakfast staff and everyone else we interacted with were just as warm and friendly. Biscuits left hanging on the door and flexibility with check-in and checkout made us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!

The location makes it easy to visit Hampton Court Palace, and the train station is only a few minutes away over the bridge. In the morning, breakfast was great, well cooked, and tasty, with very friendly staff again. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly, especially the doorman in the union Jack waistcoat, what a lovely guy. We had a super comfortable bed, a clean and tidy room, and a lovely clean bathroom. I highly recommend the place and its staff, who are a credit to the running of this fine hotel.

The afternoon tea was delicious and just the right amount. We had a table with a river view, one of the best in the restaurant, because they knew we were there for a birthday. Tommy looked after us so warmly and was friendly throughout, nothing was too much trouble. I took a friend for her birthday and we had a fantastic time. I can't wait to go back, and I'm already planning an overnight stay. Thank you so much.
