Morgan Hotel

Breakfast was fresh every day, and the apartment felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The people working there were warm and attentive throughout our stay. Its location was ideal, too. Some parts of the building are showing their age, but the service and comfort more than made up for that. We'd gladly come back.

We stayed four nights in a one-bedroom hotel room, which was about 50 yards down the street rather than in the hotel itself. It was a little dated but very clean. The location was excellent, close to the British Museum, Oxford Street, and an underground station. Breakfast was nice, and we enjoyed our stay. We'd be happy to return.

The location is great, but I felt very unsafe as a woman staying here. I could hear the man next door doing everything, even using the bathroom, moaning, and snoring. It felt as if he were in my room, and there was no staff around to help, which was deeply unsettling. I won't stay here again. The hotel is tiny, musty, and badly in need of renovation. The tap and toilet kept running, lamp switches were broken, and the interior was cold and worn. There were no amenities, minibar, or snacks, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. Breakfast was very poorly prepared in a nasty basement, and none of the staff spoke English. There's no lift or help with bags, even though the rooms are five floors up.

Breakfast was excellent, and our room was lovely and warm even in January. We had two rooms, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and an outdoor terrace for our week in London. My husband wanted more space than a standard hotel room, so the setup suited us perfectly. The Morgan hotel is full of character rather than modern style, and its location puts everything within walking distance. I'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy a place with character.
