We booked a month ahead and had to call to arrange picking up the keys, but the phone only went to voicemail and they never called back. A message through the hotels.com app got no reply either. On the day, we and hotels.com spent nearly two hours trying to reach them, without success. We’d paid upfront and they had a no-cancellation policy. This feels like a scam apartment. DO NOT BOOK THEM.

Our stay in London was ruined when no one came to hand over the keys. The instructions said to call beforehand and that someone would meet us outside a local pub. I followed them, but on the night we couldn’t reach anyone. The calls just went to an answering machine, and they never called back, even as we stood outside the apartment trying repeatedly. I’d booked months in advance. Thankfully, my credit card got me a refund, but I’m still shocked this apartment is listed and will report it to trading standards.
